Successful workshop for RPP and Finish peat producers

RPP-certification and requirements for peat extraction permits in Finland compared

On February 20 this year, Responsibly Produced Peat organized a workshop on RPP-certification in Finland.
Four members of the RPP-Board joined the workshop and together with the participating persons from various companies, interesting discussions and exchange of knowledge made the workshop to a successful event.
A lot of information also has been exchanged about the procedure for obtaining  peat extraction licenses in Finland. Several online meetings had already been organized in preparation for the workshop. This has given all parties a good understanding of the similarities and differences between the RPP requirements and the Finnish license requirements. This information will be used in the benchmarking results for Finland.
