RPP-certification explained to members of Svensk Torf in Sweden
Great involvement with good interaction
On the 6th of March, Responsibly Produced Peat joined the yearly national assembly of the Swedish peat association "Svensk Torv", to give a workshop on RPP-certification.
Peat producing companies as well as consultants showed great involvement and there was some good interaction while making the RPP-certification requirements clear to everyone. At the same time it gave more insight into where criteria are possibly already covered by the national legislation.
The next day we tuned into this possible benchmarking of the national legislation for licensing against the RPP criteria. It became clear where additional work needs to be done to be able to take the next steps. Responsibly Produced Peat will investigate this further into detail. Good agreements have been made on this and we can look back on a very successful seminar.
